adwoa beauty was founded by Julian Addo — a Liberian-Ghanaian American entrepreneur with nearly three decades in the hair industry.
Julian began as a teenage stylist in Staten Island, mastering her craft long before she ever stepped into a boardroom. from salon ownership to banking, from consulting for major beauty brands to launching Bella Kinks Media, she built a career at the intersection of beauty, strategy, and culture.
but something was missing.
the textured hair category lacked prestige. it lacked transparency. it lacked risk.
so in 2017, she built what she couldn’t find.
